Advocacy 

Our advocacy program seeks to influence the development and implementation of national and county level laws, policies, guidelines and programs in favour of children and youth in our target group. We also empower children, youth, communities and other stakeholders to effectively advocate for the rights of children and youth.

We have worked in partnership with the Government, Civil Society Organisations, media and other stakeholders to successfully advocate for the development and ongoing implementation of among others the National Guidelines for the Alternative Family Care of Children  (2014); National Gatekeeping Guidelines (2022); National Care Reforms Strategy (2022-2032); the Children’s Act (2022); the National Positive Parenting Policy (2023) and the National Policy on Family Promotion and Protection (2023).
