Diana is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in communications, media, and resource mobilization. Renowned for her creativity, strategic thinking, and reliability, she has built a reputation for developing and executing impactful communication and fundraising strategies.

Her expertise spans journalism, media planning, resource mobilization, and business management, complemented by exceptional leadership, networking, negotiation, and team collaboration skills. Throughout her career, Diana has demonstrated a strong ability to build meaningful partnerships and deliver innovative solutions that drive organizational growth.

Currently, Diana serves as the Head of Fund Development and Communications at SOS Children's Villages Kenya, where she leads efforts to mobilize resources and amplify the organization's impact.

Diana holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Journalism from Moi University, a Diploma in Journalism from the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC), and a Certificate in Communication for Development from Voice of America (VOA).

He is an experienced and versatile Child Protection and Safeguarding expert with over 10years in developing and implementing Safeguarding policies in Kenya and East African Region. He has worked with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds while upholding culture of safety. 

He has supported organisations and institutions to develop, implement and monitor Safeguarding standards.

He has strong networking and collaboration skills with like-minded partners and institutions. He is social and works with team promoting cohesiveness.

He is also an Advocacy focal person working with partners to influence and lobby for improvement of child protection policies through stakeholder engagement.

Currently he is the Safeguarding Coordinator for SOS Children’s Villages, Kenya and also Advocacy Focal person.

Nelly Achieng Okwero holds Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management and currently pursuing Masters of Science in Human Resource Management. She is a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) and a HR specialist with over 15 years’ experience in different sectors including the non-governmental space and worked with various donors including USAID and Non- USAID donors. She is a result driven, self-motivated and resourceful professional who provides high level management expertise in Human Resource Management in areas of Strategy Development and implementation, Recruitment and Selection, Payroll management, HR audit, Performance Management, HR planning and Budgeting, Benefits, and Compensation management, Health and Safety Management, HR reporting, Policy development and review among other areas. She is versed with board level reporting. She is an excellent communicator with a personable quality to develop communication lines in a workplace dealing with changing processes and systems. She has a proven record in collaborating with managers and directors in establishing frameworks for optimizing employee productivity and workplace efficiency.

 She joined SOS Children’s Villages in Kenya in April 2022 in the capacity of Senior Human Resources Officer. She has been the Acting Human Resources Manager from September 2024 driving key HR results during her tenure.  Nelly is keen on improving HR processes to achieve organization strategy.

Pascal Mailu is a Sociologist with more than 25 years’ experience in the design and management of programs in Kenya’s Civil Society sector. Before joining SOS CV Kenya in 2018, Pascal served in leadership positions in the African Network for the Prevention and Protection Against Child Abuse and Neglect (ANPPCAN); CARE International in Kenya, and Grassroots Alliance for Community Education (G.R.A.C.E Africa and USA). He has a wealth of experience in programming on among other areas, HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment; Orphans and Vulnerable Children programming; Child Care Protection; Nutrition Advocacy; pro-poor Economic Empowerment programming; Youth development; Water Sanitation & Health (WASH); and Education Programming.    

Since 2018, Pascal has served SOS CV Kenya as the Director of National Programs & Quality at while steering the organization’s programs towards alignment to the National Care Reforms Strategy (2022-2032) and expanding new program focus areas for greater impact and enhanced sustainability.

Samuel Kungu Keige is a seasoned ICT professional with over a decade of experience in the Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT) industry, including eight years in the non-governmental sector. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and a dozen of ICT Certifications including Cyber Security. He is recognized for his strategic thinking, innovative problem-solving, and results-driven approach to ICT management while saving costs.

Currently serving as the National ICT Manager at SOS Children's Villages Kenya, Samuel provides leadership, supervision, and coordination for ICT projects across 8 program locations nationwide. He has successfully implemented major systems, including the migration of Windows Server 2012 R2 to Microsoft Azure Cloud and the development of robust cybersecurity frameworks. His expertise extends to designing and maintaining secure, scalable ICT infrastructures that align with organizational goals and compliance standards, developing ICT4D Projects and innovation hubs.

Samuel's technical competencies include Office 365, Microsoft Intune, Azure administration, server virtualization, Cisco Meraki administration, LAN/WAN/SDN management, SQL databases, Active Directory, data backup, and VOIP systems. His practical experience with enterprise-grade equipment—such as Cisco routers, Meraki switches, and Cyberoam CR200I—enhances his ability to build and manage high-performance ICT environments.

Known for his decisive leadership, Samuel excels at fostering a collaborative organizational culture that encourages innovation and continuous learning. He is adept at negotiating ICT-related service level agreements (SLAs), guiding procurement decisions, and advising on emerging technology trends to optimize organizational performance.

Veronica is a seasoned finance guru with 25 years of experience in private and Non-Governmental Organisational sectors. She is an expert in finance leadership, analytical skills, planning, budgeting, and financial reporting. Proficient in information management systems suits for finance, manages all Financial controls for proper safeguarding of Organisational resources, leadership and development of policies for compliance in donor-funded projects.

I am a dynamic team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a Team player, confident, with a demonstrable commitment, passion, and ability to lead a multicultural team.

Veronica holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration (Accounting & Finance options) from Kenya Methodist University. Certificate in Supervisory skills, development, and discipline management by FKE. Ethical Professionalism in the Current Global Context by Nett Consultants Ltd Finally Tax Planning and Management by Ernst & Young. She is a member of ICPAK.

Currently, Veronica serves as the Acting Finance Manager for SOS Children’s Village Kenya managing the organisation's finances. She leads in the financial health of the organisation.

Walter S. Odhiambo is a seasoned senior executive in the international development and humanitarian sector and has more than 20 years’ experience leading nonprofits in Kenya, South Africa, and Eswatini, and in coordinating peacebuilding and conflict resolution-focused civil society organisations based across 28 countries of Africa’s Great Lakes region. His experience and expertise in this sector traverse education; international affairs; public health and nutrition; disability and inclusion; peacebuilding and conflict resolution; childcare and protection, and youth empowerment and development. Prior to shifting into the international development and humanitarian space, Walter worked with the Coca-Cola Company’s Northern Africa Division as its Market Development Manager for East Africa and the Horns region.

Walter is an alumnus of the UK’s Common Purpose Global Leader’s Programme; US’s Ashoka Visionary Program; and a survivor of the Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT). He holds a master’s degree in organisational development and transformational leadership from the United States International University in Africa (USIU-A); a master’s in strategic management from Moi University; and a bachelor’s degree in Double Mathematics and Statistics from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

Walter currently serves as the National Director at SOS Children’s Villages in Kenya, a global charity working in close to 138 countries and territories and focused on children who have lost parental care and those at risk of losing it.
